At 8:30 am, July 5, 2018, the launch ceremony of "Summer Camp for Professional Master Degree Candidates of Business School of Central South University" was held at the second floor of the management building. This summer camp selected 37 students from more than 150 outstanding students from colleges and universities in China to participate.
First of all, initiated by Professor Zhang Ying, associate dean of the School of Business, he introduced the development history of Central South University, graduate education, scientific research and discipline construction, scholarships and relevant grants during graduate studies, and special projects for postgraduates at Business School. Afterwards, leaders and professors of the school had a friendly communication with the students and took a group photo.
After the group photo, students took the school bus to tour the campus, visited the library of the new campus, swan lake and the science and technology innovation park of the university's main campus, appreciated the long-standing cultural background and scientific spirit of Central South University, and feel the strong learning atmosphere of the students in the university.
In the afternoon, students conducted "qualification selection for exemption from interview of 2019", and passed the professional test, foreign language proficiency test, comprehensive quality and ability test to compete for the recommendation qualification to study for master's degree without examination.
This summer camp aims to enhance excellent college students’ understanding about Central South University, stimulate the study interest of young students to related subjects, and select excellent students to continue their study in Central South University.
