The Business School quickly set up a COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control department. Using both WeChat group and QQ online meetings, the faculty studied and implemented measures suggested by the central government to combat the epidemic. A special person was assigned to make daily statistics of the whereabouts and physical health conditions of faculty members. Faculty members were advised to use the health punching system to ensure the accuracy of the information screening. Student counselors of all grades were required to contact students one by one to learn about their health situations, remind them to take prevention measures, and to convey news of the school’s delayed opening. The main buildings of the School were disinfected every day and use of the building was suspended for until May to ensure campus safety. Student health care initiatives were implemented to minimize the impact of the epidemic.
