With the global increase of older adults in the population and the prevalence of aging-related diseases (e.g.,cognitive and functional decline, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease), it is critical to understand their potential risk and protective factors. In this talk, we will discuss work-related experiences that may be protective or risk factors for these aging-related diseases, and how AI may be used to better support older adults.

Dr. Zhiqing Zhou is an Associate Professor at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health which is a top-ranked public health school in the United States. His research area is workplace mental health/ occupational health psychology, focusing on workplace mistreatment, illegitimate tasks, aging, and employee health, safety, and well-being. His research has been published in top journals, including Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, Human Relations, and Journal of Business Ethics. He is currently an Associate Editor of Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, Group & Organization Management, and Stress & Health.
